About the artist

Chloe Yandell is a versatile artist based in Bath. She studied Fine Art at Bath Spa University College and is a trained art teacher. She works out of her studio in Corsham, Wiltshire.

Chloe takes inspiration from her local enviornment, memories and materials. Her work focuses on texture and mark-making, creating an atmospheric narrative. Often her techniques and pieces evolve through the exploration of the creative journey. The process, through limiting influence and emptying the content of thought, adds an honesty and innocence to her paintings, a scraping back to being all about the materials and their potential.
